No Family Should Have to Face Life’s Tough Moments Alone
Over the past 10 years, Boys’ Town Sanctuary Care has supported families at their most difficult moments. When illness, exhaustion, or crisis starts to overwhelm, timely support can make all the difference.
Sometimes, this means a parent finally getting the rest they need after months of caregiving. At other times, it means a child having a safe place to stay while their family works through a period of uncertainty.
This interim support provides space for families to pause, regain their stability and return to providing a healthy and emotionally safe family environment for their children.

Through programmes such as Acute Respite Care (ARC), Outreach Activity Respite Services (OARS) and community outreach initiatives, Sanctuary Care, together with a dedicated network of Respite Carers and volunteers, engages with the community and provides flexible short-term respite care services. These timely periods of respite help prevent long-term disruptions for children.
Caregiving demands grow more complex day by day and support systems are stretched. Safe spaces like Sanctuary Care continue to provide a critical service, ensuring that no family has to carry their burdens alone – and every child and caregiver can find rest, strength and hope when it matters most.
Sanctuary Care is part of Boys’ Town’s mission to support children, youth and families in need. Your donation can help sustain Boys’ Town’s programmes and operations, such as:
