(18 May 2026 to 30 June 2026)
Our Boys’ Town logo shows an older person carrying a younger one. In life, we all need to be carried sometimes, especially when the road feels too heavy to walk alone. Through our six services, Boys’ Town supports children and youth in need, girls and boys from infants to young adults, journeying with them through every stage of life.
Join us for a Day in the life of Boys’ Town
As the sun rises, a resident prepares for school, supported by a Residential Services Youth Specialist who offers gentle guidance and encouragement. The Adventure Centre team loads up the lorry and sets off to a school, prepared to roll out Wander-Land, our mental wellness road show. A YouthReach youth worker ferries a youth to school, providing a steady presence as they head in for their exam.
These simple morning routines and reassuring words help set the tone for a day grounded in care and stability.
By midday, our services are in full swing, driven by purpose. Our Fostering Services and Sanctuary Care teams review care plans for the families we support, while our Clinical Intervention Centre team conducts counselling sessions, working closely with parents and their little ones to address challenges both seen and unseen.
Each interaction reflects our commitment to strengthening family bonds and nurturing hope for future generations.
Our care continues into the evening. While volunteers tutor our residents, empowering them one lesson at a time, our YouthReach youth workers are out in the community, meeting youths where they gather and offering guidance and support they need to navigate life’s uncertainties.
As the day comes to a close, our children and youth find comfort and rest surrounded by unwavering care from dedicated staff, kind-hearted volunteers, and generous partners.
As humans, we stumble and there are bound to be moments when we need to be carried. Together, let us carry our children and youth into tomorrow with the assurance that they do not walk alone.

We appeal to your generosity and kindness to help us raise $250,000 from 18 May 2026 – 30 June 2026 through the Special Appeal. Donations received from this appeal will help support Boys’ Town’s programmes and operations.
