Homework Buddy for Foster Children

Fostering Services

As a homework buddy, you will provide one-on-one sessions to children aged 3 to 18 who are in foster care. Your primary goal is to support these children in their academic development, focusing on areas where they may need extra help. You will work closely with the children to improve their understanding of key subjects, boost their confidence, and foster a love for learning.

Date: Flexible Start Date, 6 Months Commitment (Minimum)

Time: Dependent on Foster Family and Tutor’s Availabilities
Location: Foster Parents’ Home

Role: Provide academic support and help our foster children with homework, exam preparation, and project work.

Eligibility Criteria

18 years old and above.
Strong knowledge of core subjects relevant to the child’s educational level is important.
Ability to empathize with foster children and understand their unique challenges.
Genuine interest in working with foster children and making a positive difference in their lives.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding foster children.
