The Psychologist of the Therapeutic Group Home (TGH) will provide best possible preventive, developmental, remedial and rehabilitative interventions unique to each client and participate in the delivery of trauma-informed therapeutic services.
Provide psychological assessments and therapy services to clients and their family members or caregivers
Plan and run group work sessions with the clients
Provide referral, follow-up and consultation with external agencies and counsel family members as appropriate
Develop and update treatment plan together with the treatment team and support and engage care workers in therapeutic intervention to guide clients towards successful completion of the treatment plan
Serve as a clinical resource for the TGH, providing specialist advice and consultative support for staff on the provision of therapeutic care in relation to the client and their family. This may also include providing psychological input on the understanding and management of the client.
Assist in staff coaching related to therapeutic intervention. Where necessary, the psychologist may provide relevant sharing of information to staff and other stakeholders on the understanding and management of the client.
Minimum qualification of Master of Clinical or Applied Psychology
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
Candidate should qualify for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society
