To ensure the safety of the clients and to provide support by performing general maintenance of Boys’ Town buildings.
- Responsible for handling all maintenance works, repair work and estate-related projects.
- Attend to feedback regarding defects, breakdowns, and urgent rectification work daily.
- Attend to emergencies after office hours if necessary.
- Assist in recording and monitoring of defects lodgement system (FreshDesk) and report the defects recording every quarterly to Estate Manager.
- Assist in conducting regular facility inspection checklists as and when required by Estate Manager/ Estate Executive e.g., Emergency E-light/Exit Lights, windows & doors, water tank, pest control etc.
- Assist in purchasing materials for repair work purposes.
- To upkeep the gardening work in Boys’ Town premises.
- To check and clean the reinforced concrete rooftop monthly.
- Report to and provide feedback daily pertaining to maintenance or repair works to the Estate Manager.
- To complete tasks assigned by the Estate Manager and work as a team with Estate & Project Coordinator/Estate Executive.
- To be of assistance to the Estate Manager when required.
- Other ad-hoc duties may be assigned generally for the purpose of the well-being of Boys’ Town, such as the collection of donation-in-kind items e.g., office furniture, food items etc.
- Nitec in Building Facilities/ Building Technology/ Electrical or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience preferable. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Able to do simple documentation and record keeping.
- Able to perform data entry using a database system and familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Able to count using basic math skills and good hearing skills.
- Physically fit and able to load and unload company items of at least 10kg.
- Basic oral and written English skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, flexibility and team player.
- Preferably possess class 3 license to drive van, car and/or lorry.
