To effectively manage cases receiving respite care services and support programmes/events of Sanctuary Care and the agency.
- To conduct intake assessments on the suitability of case referrals for Sanctuary Care.
- To conduct regular home visits and support placement to ensure the placement can safeguard and promote the child’s safety, stability, and well-being.
- To assess how the respite child is doing in respite care and the respite carer’s capability to meet the child’s needs.
- To identify at-risk situations and develop strategies and intervention plans to address child safety issues and well-being.
- To work with referral sources and natural parents on the child’s reintegration plans.
- To prepare and submit case reports punctually.
- To meet regularly with the supervisor to assess case progress and programme outcome/effectiveness.
- To conduct in-depth assessment and prepare Respite Carer Assessment Reports (RCAR), present findings at the Approving Panel and follow up on decisions and recommendations.
- To plan and execute the monthly half-day weekend programme as per duty schedule.
- To organise and participate in roadshows to recruit respite carers and volunteers.
- To organise and participate in community outreach programmes/campaigns.
- To provide a 24-hour hotline for respite carers per duty schedule and follow up on outcomes.
- Experience in working with children/CYP and their families.
- Bachelor/post-graduate diploma in Social Sciences or equivalent.
