Volunteer Transport Minders (VTMs) play an important role in supporting Sanctuary Care's acute (ARC) and non-acute (OARS) programmes. They assist in ferrying our respite children between locations. These journeys may include transporting our ARC children from their parents’ homes to the respite carer’s residence, or vice versa. It may also involve school pick-ups or drop-offs, depending on the child's schedule and needs.
Additionally, VTMs may also sign up to support our OARS programme activities by assisting with transportation between parents’ homes and programme venues, including return trips.
