Programme Officer (Youth Programme Development), Residential Services

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

FUNCTIONAL:

Developmental:

To work in collaboration with the various units of Residential Services pertaining to the welfare of the clients.
To coordinate in identifying and implementing relevant learning and developmental programmes for clients.

Administration:

To coordinate in the planning of Developmental and Educational programmes such as Interest Groups, Camps, Tuition programme and BTAS.
To coordinate RS programmes and stimulate the learning development, physical and to encourage the development of social inter-relations.
To adhere to the SOPs and SOCs of the Home and support in RS volunteer Management (Tuition).
To support in the recruitment and orientation of volunteers/build and maintain volunteer relation and database.
To maintain general administrative duties.
To coordinate in collating and analysing programme evaluation related to the programmes.
To adhere and ensure Volunteers Management Standard Operating Procedures are met.

Coordination:

To coordinate in the liaison with volunteers, public donors and supporters of Boys’ Town.
To coordinate in the network with volunteers and partners for existing and future youth events and activities.
To coordinate and facilitate CSR activities directed to Residential Services.

ORGANISATIONAL:

To participate in setting and tracking of annual KPIs for the respective portfolios assigned.
To contribute to SOPs making within the home by providing feedback to RS management.
To participate actively in all fundraising activities as well as any other commitments that Boys’ Town undertakes.
The Head – Residential Services and or his/her representative may assign you any other duties that are within reason for the operation needs of Boys’ Town.

Job Requirements

Supervision skills.
Basic counselling, Mentoring and Role modelling skills and understanding of human behavior.
Experience in working with youths with an understanding of youth psychology.
Mentoring and Coaching Skills.
Good planning and organisational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
Coordination skills.
Administrative – documentation, filing.
