To ensure that residents and staff are transported safely, to accompany residents for external appointments and to support the Youth Development Unit with logistical support.
- Drive residents and staff to and from various activities, medical appointments and outings or on an ad-hoc basis when required.
- Ensure that all passengers are safely secured in their seats and adhere to all safety procedures required.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses to the appropriate authorities and management.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations consistently.
- Assist Residential Services (RS) staff to schedule appointments with the polyclinics when necessary.
- Assist with administrative and logistical support for the implementation and execution of programmes.
- Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of program storerooms.
- To assist the Head of RS with ensuring total compliance with policies and regulatory requirements of Boys’ Town, MSF and other governing bodies together with keeping proper documentation as required.
- To assist in RS licensing audit and fulfillment of RS components.
- Minimum educational qualification of GCE N Levels.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience driving children and young persons preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, young persons, clients, stakeholders and staff.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanour in stressful situations.
