Therapeutic Support and Intervention

At the intensive end of the spectrum, we provide therapeutic support and intervention to improve the psychological, social or emotional well-being of our clients. This comes in the form of counselling and therapy, behavioural intervention and parenting work.

What we do

Our team of counsellors and therapists provide a private, safe and non-judgemental space whilst providing psychosocial intervention to improve the functioning and well-being of children, youth and their families. Our approach is grounded on trauma-informed and systemic practices and we use evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Based Brief Therapy. We work in collaboration with the various entities or stakeholders in the child’s system such as parents, family members, school, and the community because we recognise the importance of involving the child’s support system for the best therapeutic outcome. Common issues that we work with include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Conduct issues
  • Anger management
  • Trauma
  • Poor emotion regulation
  • Family issues
  • Adaptation and adjustment issues
