BT75 Changemakers Special
Changing Lives for 75 Years
Dear friends of Boys’ Town,
From serving war-torn boys in 1948, Boys’ Town has now evolved into a multi-service social service agency that serves both boys and girls, from infants to young adults. Throughout our 75 years of history, we have been changing the lives of those who set foot through our doors.
One of our residential boys, Thomas*, was cared for by multiple caregivers to protect him from the physical harm and punishment caused by his parents. Things took a turn for the better after he was placed in Boys’ Town’s Hostel programme, which provides residential care for older youths who have no other forms of support.
With the aim to reintegrate Thomas back to his family, our staff supported his parents with parental training and resources. After being discharged from Boys’ Town, Thomas reintegrated into his family, and aspires to further his studies at a university. Despite having gone through adversity, Thomas can now look ahead and pursue his dreams. Your support for our case makes a direct impact in transforming the lives of our beneficiaries such as Thomas.
“Those whom the world rejects must move you the most”
-Saint Louis Marie de Montfort
As we celebrate Boys’ Town’s 75th Anniversary, we would like to rally the community to support our children and youths who are the future of the world. While we begin an exciting new chapter of our history, we invite you to our BT75 Changemakers Special, who will make a difference to the lives of more than 1,000 children and youth we serve yearly.
We aim to raise $375,000 between 8 May 2023 – 31 July 2023 from this fundraising campaign to support Boys’ Town’s programmes and operations.
The support that we have given to our beneficiaries is only possible with the dedication and generosity of our donors and supporters. On behalf of everyone in Boys’ Town, thank you for journeying with us. Together, we can create a positive impact on the lives of children and youth in need, as well as the families and communities that care for them.
