Tammy* and Tony* lost their mother at a very young age. The tragedy left these two children under the care of their grieving father. Their father was unable to cope with what had happened as well as the responsibility of caring for his two young children. Hence, to ensure their continued protection and well-being, the children were assessed and placed under Boys’ Town Fostering Services, a temporary care arrangement with a foster family. A dedicated social worker keeps in regular contact with them by carrying out regular visits to check on their well-being and give advice or help when needed.
