It has been more than 75 years since Brother Vincent founded Boys’ Town and put up a building that has sheltered thousands of boys over the years, providing them with guidance, shelter, education, vocational training and practical living skills.

In 2013, a new building was built to replace the old one that no longer met today’s safety standards. The new building provided the boys with improved residential facilities and for the organisation to run additional services and programmes.

With these new services and programmes, Boys’ Town strives to be the one-stop place of safety and new hope for children and youth in need, evolving to grow our services according to our clients’ needs. Boys’ Town now offers the following key services to meet the needs of society:

• Residential Services consisting of Group Home, Shelter, Hostel and Therapeutic Group Home cater for children and youths who have been neglected, abused or who have weak/no social support. Boys’ Town Learning prepares the youths in residential care for reintegration back into mainstream schooling and equips them with life skills to prepare for the workforce.
• Fostering Services provides family-based care for vulnerable children and is a Fostering Agency appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).
• Sanctuary Care is a community respite care service to safeguard the welfare of vulnerable children.
• YouthReach is a street outreach programme targeting at-risk youth who have fallen through the cracks.
• Clinical Intervention Centre offers psychological interventions through assessments, counselling, psychotherapy, behavioural management, group work and other psychological services.
• Boys’ Town Adventure Centre delivers adventure-based therapy and programmes to fuel children and youths’ active learning and character development.
• Our Milieu Project is an initiative promoting children and youth’s mental well-being through mental health outreach programmes to the community.

Build a Future, Leave a Legacy – a fundraising appeal to continue Boys’ Town’s legacy

In 2024, Boys’ Town invites companies and individuals to build our future and leave a legacy with us. Every contribution received goes directly into impacting young lives and building a stronger future for them. Help us continue transforming the lives of over 2,000 children and youth in need by making a donation to Boys’ Town.

We are seeking your help to reach our goal of raising $500,000 through this campaign. The donation for this campaign will go towards Boys’ Town programmes and operations.

Recognition

In recognition of contributions $10,000 and above towards this fundraising appeal, donors may opt to name a facility within Boys’ Town (depending on availability) and be acknowledged through:

• A plaque prominently displayed at the facility
• Boys’ Town website
• Donor wall
• Invitation to Boys’ Town special events
• Recognition in publications such as our annual report

Contract Term

The plaque with your name will be displayed for 10 years or for as long as the facility is still in use, whichever period expires earlier.

Donation

All donations received through this fundraising appeal will also receive a 2.5 times tax deduction (NRIC or UEN numbers must be provided).

Please note that Boys’ Town reserves the right to amend or withdraw the naming rights without prior notice, in the best interests of the organisation.
